The performing arts enliven not only individuals, but whole communities by providing a catalyst for economic and social revitalization, a common destination for people of diverse backgrounds, educational opportunities for all ages, and an outlet for creative expression and personal growth. The Steel River Playhouse serves that role for Pottstown and the surrounding region.
How You Can Help
We welcome contributions from individuals, corporations and foundations, including in-kind donations*. Here is how you can help us expand our progress and impact.
Year-round Financial Donations to Support Programming and Operations
Our revenues fund only a portion of our financial needs to produce more than 90 performances and provide performing arts education for about 10,000 residents and visitors each year.
Make a Tax Deductible Donation to Steel River
Become an Honorary Producer
As an Honorary Producer, you can support a Main Stage or Education performance or series to uniquely honor someone on an important occasion, make an announcement, or express support for the performing arts and the Steel River Playhouse.
Year-end Annual Appeal
The Annual Appeal is a key component of our budget, helping us create a gateway for audiences of all ages and interest, and emerging and established artists.
In-Kind Donations
Goods and services offset operating and programming costs, and provide expertise and supplies that help sustain our work and accelerate our growth. If you’re not sure how or whether such donations can be of assistance, we’d be delighted to explore the possibilities with you.
Sponsor Initiatives and Events
Corporate sponsorship of unique programs such as major presentations, audience development research projects, outreach to underserved audiences, and employee or client special events both directly benefits audiences and artists and provides donors with opportunities for community engagement.
