From points East (Philadelphia Area):

Route 76W to Valley Forge/Route 422W, Pottstown exit. Travel 422W to the N. Hanover St. exit (15 to 20 minutes). Turn R at end of exit ramp (light) onto N. Hanover St. Cross bridge and railroad tracks. Turn R onto High St. (light). Steel River Playhouse is 1½ blocks on left. Parking areas will be on the right (see below).

From points South (Exton/Downingtown, PA Turnpike):

Follow Route 100N, crossing Route 401 (Ludwig’s Corner) & Route 23. Continue to intersection of King St. and PA 663 (about 5/10 minutes). Turn R onto King St. (there are two right turn-offs approaching this intersection, be sure you take the 2nd one which is closest to the light). Continue on King St. and turn R onto N. Hanover St. then L onto High St. (light). Steel River Playhouse is 1½ blocks on left. Parking areas will be on the right (see below).

From points North (New York/Allentown):

From Allentown, take Route 29S to Route 100S for approx. 20 miles. Turn L onto King St. (diner on left corner). Continue on King St. and take a R onto N. Hanover St. and then a L onto High St. (light). Steel River Playhouse is 1½ blocks on left.  Parking areas will be on the right (see below).

From points West (Lancaster/Reading/Douglassville)

Follow Route 422E to the Route 100N exit toward Allentown. Continue on Route 100N to intersection of King St. and PA 663. Turn R onto King St. (there are two right turn-offs approaching this intersection, be sure you take the 2nd one which is closest to the light). Continue on King St. and turn R onto N. Hanover St. then L onto High St. (light). Steel River Playhouse is 1½ blocks on left. Parking areas will be on the right (see below).

Parking

While facing/heading West on High Street (Steel River will be on your right), take a left at the first traffic light onto Penn Street. There is a large parking lot on both sides of Penn Street that is part of VideoRay and behind the New York Plaza.

All the spots are available on evenings after 6pm and weekends. Please note that there is no parking allowed at VideoRay on weekdays between 8am and 6pm and that cars are subject to towing during that period. The lot and walkway to Steel River Playhouse is well lit and the parking is free.

Pottstown street parking uses a Smartphone App called ParkMobile. This is effective on High Street (including in front of the theater), as well as at several of the parking lots our patrons use. You will need to download the app and register.

The first hour of parking will be free, with .50 per hour charged after that. There is also a .35 transaction fee applied. You’ll find a sign with the Zone# posted on the block you are parking on.

This is effective 7 days per week, 6 AM to 2 AM. You can find more information at ParkMobile or ParkMobile Tutorial. If you do not have a SmartPhone or unable to load the app, a telephone number to call is displayed on signs posted on High Street and in the parking lots.

Remember:  Parking behind The New York Plaza on Penn Street is still available and free to our patrons!
